1st Trip to Mammoth

A couple weeks ago we had our first trip to Mammoth. We get an early start. And thank god we did, a 5 hour trip took 7 1/2 hours. The kids did great, they only started to melt down the last 20 minutes.

Mackenzie is our little tv watcher, so she was super easy the first half of the trip. She thought Monsters Inc was the funniest movie.

Cole shares a special connections with just a few people. Treyton is one of them.

We took the kids to play in the snow outside our condo. Mackenzie wouldn't wear her gloves. So once she touched the snow she was not happy.

She reminds me of the kid brother from "A Christmas Story".

Cole really enjoyed all the fresh powder Mammoth just got.

Too much fresh powder can make a boy crazy.

Camping for New Year

I finally got around to downloading pictures off the new camera I got for Christmas. I had no idea what gems I had.

This was the second year that we went camping in the desert with some friends. Last year Mackenzie was only 7 months and just big enough to ride a Cole's battery powered quad. This year she jumped to something just a little bigger.


Mackenzie also learned how to play Polish Horse shoes. She was very good at making 5 pointers.

We tried to take the kids for a ride in a Rhino. We should have known it was a bad idea when Cole bit Mackenzie before the ride started.
