Mackenzie's Last Day of school

Mackenzie's last day in Ms. Angie's class was filled with a lot of sweet treats and dancing!

She had ice cream,

AND a cupcake!

Before she was done with her cupcake the teacher flipped the music on and said,"Alright, who's ready for a dance party?"  I've never seen Mackenzie move so fast.  She put her cupcake down and exclaimed,"IT'S A DANCE PARTY!"

She jumped to her feet and into the middle of the dance floor where she proceeded to shake her groove thing.  I can see her being the instigator of many Crazy Dance Contests.

Mackenzie's friend Maxwell wanted to make sure everyone was ready for the beach this summer.

Ms. Angie made it a point to tell me how much she would miss Mackenzie.  Especially the way Mackenzie would run up and give her a hug as soon as she walked into class.

Ms. Jenn is no longer Mackenzie's teacher.  But she asked Ms. Angie to ask me to stop by her classroom on our way out.

It really brings such a smile to my face to know how much my kids touched the hearts of their teachers.

Cole's Preschool Graduation

After three years of ruling the school, this was Cole's last day at Buttercup Preschool.
I wanted to start a graduation tradition.  Since this was the first of many cap-n-gown ceremonies, I thought this would be a perfect photo spot for future ceremonies.  Getting a good photo of a 5 year old and 3 year old next to one another has become more of challenge.  This was good enough.

Big Man on his last day at Buttercup.
The graduates make their entrance.

I did IT!!

Mom and Dad are so proud him.
