Pick your own Blueberries

Last Saturday we met some friends at the Underwood Family Farms to pick your blueberries and a picnic.  Once the kids figured out they could pick them and eat them it was over.  I'm surprised we didn't have more tummy aches on the way home.

Easter In Tucson

Every year we celebrate Easter in Tucson with Grandma and Granddaddy Fiore.  This was after the big Easter Egg Hunt.  Mackenzie is too busy for a quick picture.

Mackenzie really loves her cousin Audrey.  They are two peas in a pod with they get together.

 The girls enjoy some night time fishing.  These girls have a great imagination.  They can entertain each other for hours.

 I finally get to see the THING.

On our way home we went via the 8 and through San Diego so we could visit family and friends we don't get to see very often.  This is Lucas Klea.  From the looks of it, he's a pyromaniac just like his Daddy. 

We also checked out Legoland for the first time.  Lots of photo ops for me. 

Some more friends we don't get to see, Tricia and Bella Neill.  Watching these girls try and drive these cars was hilarious.  They definitely years away from their license.

Easter Tradition

Before we hit the road to Tucson, Arizona we dyed Easter Eggs.  It was by the best dying session we've ever had with Cole.  He placed his eggs in the dye very gently and waited for them to turn vibrant colors.

Cole really enjoyed dying eggs in this thing.  You put the egg inside with a little dye, then hit the pink button and watch the egg spin into a new color.

After watching her brother do it, Mackenzie found the joy in destroying a hard boiled egg.

The finish product.  Mackenzie's are the pastel blue eggs.  She just lacked the same patience Cole had with his eggs.
