Troutdale
Keeping with our New's Year's Resolution, Sunday Family Funday, we took the kids fishing at Troutdale in Malibu. This actually brought back found memories of my own, when my Dad took me and my sister.
Mackenzie took to fishing like a "fish to water". I was actually really surprised that she knew she needed to turn the reel. I'm not sure where she picked that up.
Any time you tried to help she said,"No this is mine!" That does seem to be her favorite phrase no matter what the situation.
Cole wasn't too into fishing.
He preferred to soak up the sun.
Mackenzie was the only one to catch a fish.
And once they reeled it in she ran screaming the other way.
Even though Cole wasn't too into fishing, he was content to just hang out.

Our weekend started off with...
Friday, March 4 was Dad's Day at Mackenzie's school. First everyone met in the basketball courts, where everyone sang songs together.
Then everyone was dismissed to individual classes
All the kids get their turn to show off their dance moves for everyone in class and Mackenzie was no exception.
