Last weekend we took the kids to Arizona to see Grandad and Grandma Fiore for Christmas.
Mackenzie is ready for a road trip.
On our way to Tucson we stopped by to see our friends the Tirschs. This group shot was the best I could do with four 2 year olds and uncooperative 5 year old.
On Saturday we went to the 4th Avenue Street Fair in Tucson. This thing is huge! This was the first time I've ever been and we didn't get through half of it.
Audrey and Mackenzie used the buddy system.
Cole hasn't changed. He can fall asleep ANYWHERE!
This weekend was particularly fun for me. I was the Pied Piper of these little girls. It all started when cute little Audrey asked me to comb her hair after a bath.
This was the cutest. We settled in this room to read. Since I hadn't brought the girls downstairs in awhile, my brother-in-law Scott came up to check on us. When Audrey saw her Dad she promptly told him,"Dad can you go away we're reading."
After story time we had to snuggle on this unbelievably small bench.
Grandad made the girls a fort out of a card table and blanket. It got a little cramped in there with all four of us.
Great Grandma (or Grape Grandma as Mackenzie would say) has 8 great grandchildren and only one is a boy. Maybe that's why they have such a connection.
On the way home we stopped to stretch our legs at this road side attraction. Mackenzie kept trying to tickle the dinosaurs foot.
