3 pounds

Cole has offically cracked the 3 lb mark. He's 3lb 2oz as of this morning, and growing fast. The retina specialist examined him yesterday and elected to do surgery on the left eye. The surgery took 30 minutes and was less invasive than I had thought. Cole doesn't need a bandage over the eye and the only evidence is that eye is temporarily bloodshot.
While we were holding him yesterday, twin boys arrived from Labor and Delivery. Heather got to experience the controlled chaos of the NICU when newborns arrive. One of the boys is named Cole also.

We are so glad to see and hear that USC's newest fan is coming along so well. He looks so cuddly and content. Give him a tiny, tender hug from us.

Those are the best pictures yet! What a cutie. He looks like he is staring with love into the eyes of Mommy (I think or was it Daddy?). Either way, he looks great. I am so glad to hear the breathing and eyes are progressing so well. Give our "Chicken Little" kisses from the Woods!
