This weekend we went to Newport Beach to visit with my cousin Batrice and her family. We haven't seen her since our wedding 10 years ago.
We all had a great time. We had such a good time that we are planning on renting a house next summer. I can't wait.

Every time the waves would crash around them my Aunt would say,"They got us!" After that Cole would not stop saying,"They got us!"
My Aunt didn't have the same luck with Mackenzie. Don't let the face fool ya'. Mackenzie loves her great Aunt DeDe.
Mackenzie was happy to just sit on the sand and work on her tan...
and eat Cheetos!!!

These are great photos - looks like you guys had such a fun time!!! This is what living in California is all about... sometimes I need to remind myself that there is a beach nearby... and the beach is AWESOME!
